Most ads give you one site, one roster, take it or leave it. This isn't that.
Techforce is placing Underground Diesel Fitters and Auto Electricians across live and upcoming assignments nationally. Different operators, different fleets, different points of hire. Our job is to work out what you're actually good at and what you actually want, then put you somewhere that fits both.

Rosters

Tell us which one you want and we'll work backwards from there:

  • 7 on, 7 off
  • 8 on, 6 off
  • 2 on, 2 off

Travel

Flights, accommodation and meals covered per the assignment. Points of hire vary by site and can include Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin, Alice Springs and Perth. Living somewhere that isn't on that list? Talk to us anyway. We can usually build a travel arrangement that works.

The gear

This is the bit we care most about

  • CAT: AD55, AD60, AD63, R1700, R2900, R3000
  • Sandvik: DD421, DD422i, Solo drills, TH trucks, LH loaders
  • Epiroc: MT65, Simba, Boomer
  • Normet support fleet
  • Integrated Tool Carriers, service trucks, pumps, ancillary
  • UG light vehicles

Nobody has run all of it. We'd rather know the three machines you can strip and rebuild half asleep than see every box on the list ticked.

What you need

  • Cert III in Heavy Diesel, Plant Mechanics or Auto Electrical
  • Essential: Underground hardrock time
  • Standard 11
  • Driver's licence
  • Clear pre-employment medical and D&A
  • UG Induction, Working at Heights, EWP, Confined Space, Fire Fighting all help but won't make or break it
