Mechanical Fitter – FIFO | WA

Rates:$80/hr (Days) | $92/hr (Nights)
Roster: 8/6 – 7/7 (12-hour shifts, DS/NS)
Start: Mid-August
Duration: 3-month contract → Permanent opportunity
We’re chasing experienced Mechanical Fitters for FIFO roles across WA, working across a diverse fixed plant environment with long-term potential.
Scope of Work:

  • Fixed plant maintenance across processing infrastructure
  • Hoisting shaft, winder & headframe systems
  • Underground dewatering systems
  • Crushers, conveyors & stackers
  • Bulk air chillers & surface ventilation fans
  • Hydraulics & pneumatics
  • Reading and interpreting technical schematics & HMI systems
  • General welding and repair work

Requirements:

  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Working at Heights (WAH)
  • Confined Space (CS)
  • Construction White Card
  • HRWL – WP
  • Proven mining experience (gold mine highly regarded)
