Underground Electrician

We are currently seeking X6 Underground Electricians to join a Hard Rock underground mine site in Western Australia. You'll be working with a well-established client and solid Electrical team. This is an Operational role that is offering a casual to full-time employment

Details -

• Interstate Flights Paid
• $85-$95ph - The More experience, the higher the pay rate !
• Choose from 8/6 & 7/7 or 14:14 Rosters
• 6 x different Hard Rock Mine Sites to choose from
• Long Term work with Full time spots available

What You'll Be Doing:

• Installation of new cabling
• Installation of underground services and panels
• Working on underground ventilation systems
• Testing and commissioning of mobile plant
• Working on dual rigs
• Installation & maintenance of 1000v underground reticulation
• Experience with Sandvik underground mobile equipment
• Ability to carry out electrical installations up to 1000V AC - Essential
• Perform scheduled maintenance, statutory testing and inspections
• Service 1000V mobile equipment, including Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) equipment
• Install and maintain underground electrical and communication reticulation systems
• Must have previous Underground experience

Tickets / Requirements

• Current WA Grade Electrical license - essential
• Trade cert - essential
• Valid White Card - essential
• LVR/ CPR - essential
• First aid - essential
• Full Australian working rights - essential
• Manual Driving license - essential
• HV Switching - desirable
• Experience with underground mining - essential
• Have the ability to undertake a medical
• Have the ability to start ASAP
