We are currently looking for an experienced Underground Electrician, working on a 2/2 roster rotating days and nights, FIFO from Brisbane or Sydney. This role is for 3 months with a potential to be extended. As an Underground Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability and safety of underground mining operations. You will be responsible for connecting and reconnecting power to jumbo drill rigs, fault finding and maintaining electrical systems, relocating junction boxes and trailing cables, and ensuring underground equipment remains operational. Working closely with the mining team, you will help minimise downtime while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. What you'll need to succeed
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical Licence
- Previous underground mining experience (essential)
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
