Techforce Personnel is partnering with some of Australia's leading underground mining contractors to recruit experienced Charge Up Operators and Shotfirers for multiple FIFO opportunities across Western Australia and South Australia.

• Charge-Up up to $85/hr

Your Responsibilities

• Development and production charge up
• Charging headings, rises and stopes safely and efficiently
• Handling, transporting and storing explosives in accordance with site procedures
• Blast preparation, tie-ins, firing and post-blast inspections
• Working with ANFO, emulsion and packaged explosives
• Operating Charmec, Normet and charging equipment (site dependent)
• Working closely with development and production crews
• Maintaining high safety and operational standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous underground Charge Up or Shotfiring experience
• Experience across development and/or production mining
• Current Shotfirer's Licence highly regarded
• Strong understanding of underground blasting procedures
• National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Commitment to working safely and contributing to a productive crew

Site Requirements

WA Operations

• Manual Driver's Licence required
• DGSC required (reimbursed after 3 months where applicable)
• Paid face-to-face induction in Perth prior to mobilisation

SA Operations

• Auto Driver's Licence accepted
• SSAN required
