Looking for a solid underground role with consistent work, strong crews, and a reliable ongoing 2:2 roster?

We are currently seeking experienced Underground Charge Up Operators for multiple FIFO operations across WA and SA. These roles are on established underground sites with reputable contractors, offering ongoing work and immediate starts.

What's On Offer

  • 2:2 FIFO roster (days and nights)
  • Up to $96/hr + penalties
  • Immediate starts available
  • Ongoing work across multiple WA and SA sites
  • Established operations with consistent work

What You'll Be Doing

  • Production and development charge up
  • Handling and transporting explosives in line with site procedures
  • Charging headings, rises and stopes safely and efficiently
  • Conducting pre and post blast inspections
  • Working closely with underground production crews
  • Maintaining high safety standards and compliance onsite

What You'll Need

  • Previous underground mining experience
  • Previous charge up / shotfiring experience highly regarded
  • Shotfirers Licence preferred
  • National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Ability to pass medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) or willing to obtain

Additional requirements:

  • WA sites - Manual driver's licence required
  • SA sites - Auto licences accepted
  • WA sites - DGSC required (reimbursed after 3 months if obtained)
  • SA sites - SSAN required

Additional Info

  • Service Crew and other underground operators looking to step into charge up are encouraged to apply
  • FIFO roles across all sites
  • Interstate candidates welcome
  • Flights to point of hire (POH) to be covered by candidate
  • WA sites require a face-to-face induction at the client's office (Perth Airport), completed prior to mobilisation. This is an 8-hour paid induction.
