Underground Auto Electrician

KCA Site Services provides specialist workforce solutions to Tier 1 mining operations across Western Australia.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation and availability in challenging underground conditions.

Our current vacancies are permanent, full-time roles. We do also have some temp-to-perm vacancies available with other clients if you prefer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on underground mobile equipment
• Maintain wiring, batteries, charging systems, and control circuits
• Install and service safety systems, lighting, communications, and telematics
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to maximise uptime
• Respond to breakdowns and complete work to site safety and compliance standards

Requirements

• Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician (or relevant) in Australia
• Previous experience working as an Auto Electrician (any industry)
• Previous underground FIFO experience (highly desirable)
• Full Australian driver's licence
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol screening, and a police check
