About the Role

Northern Star Resources currently has a unique opportunity for an experienced Treasury Analyst to join the team at our Subiaco Office, on a permanent & full-time basis. Reporting to the Group Manager - Treasury, this newly created role will see you manage concurrent workstreams across gold sales, banking, insurance, hedging and corporate finance. The successful candidate will have a passion for treasury and financial risk management and will possess a solid understanding and working knowledge of both treasury and financial markets.

Here is what awaits you.

  • Administrate the group’s transaction banking facilities and online platforms including credit card facilities.
  • Manage Treasury payment requirements including debt facility payments, equipment financing, insurance premiums & adjustments and treasury suppliers.
  • Preparing Treasury Reports, including monthly reporting requirements and cash flow forecasting.
  • Work with the business on annual Insurance Renewals and the ongoing insurance function.
  • Be involved in any department discussions around process efficiencies & the enhancement of work streams etc.
  • Provide comprehensive generic support to the Treasury Department and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role, involving complex financial analysis, ideally within the mining industry, would be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing concurrent workstreams across gold sales, banking, insurance, hedging and corporate finance.
  • Strong computer literacy, including across the Microsoft Office Suite and specifically Excel.
