We’re seeking an experienced and dedicated Transport Supervisor to oversee transport operations for ISS Defence bases in WA (working from HMAS Stirling near Rockingham) and plays an integral role in coordinating all activities to ensure the smooth operation of Transport Services. They will oversee daily activities applicable to each site, liaising with drivers, Subcontractors, servicing and repair agencies They will assist in scheduling bus services and managing the Defence Fleet of Cat 1, 2 and 3 vehicles.

They will ensure all passenger services, both scheduled and ad hoc, are delivered on time and in a cost-effective manner. This role supports the seamless flow of operations, adapting to ongoing and dynamic transportation needs

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Assist Key Account Manager with the day-to-day efficient operation of the transport requirements of the base
• Achieve all contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Transport Services and ensure scope requirements are met
• Ensure all required bus/shuttle runs are scheduled as per site requirements and run on time.
• Respond to timetabling, vehicle requests and driver supported tasks within a timely fashion and if there are delays promptly advise the customer/client as appropriate
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in a clean and re-fuelled state
• Ensure the wash points and vehicle parks are maintained in a safe and clean working condition
• Ensure all AD049’s are collated at the end of each month and entered into national objective repository
• Coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs of vehicles
• Report all Defence Vehicle accidents/incidents are reported in accordance with the LVOM and the Safetyman WHS incident reporting policy and guidance
• Any other duties as directed by management that falls within the capabilities and trade qualifications of the person.
• Ensure compliance with ISS and Client HSEQ standards, promoting safe work practices

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years in a management role within the Transport and Logistics industry, with a strong customer service focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and learning scheduling/rostering systems (we will provide training).
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Heavy Rigid Licence with Accreditation or equivalent (PTD – Passenger Transport Driver authorisation – previously known as F-extension)
• TLI30325 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

Compliance: Must be an Australian Citizen and must hold or be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance

Preferred:

• Defence experience will be highly regarded
