MACA are seeking a Training Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position based in our Welshpool office.
Reporting to the LMS & Compliance Lead, the Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the planning, delivery, and tracking of training across the business. This role oversees training schedules, manages internal and external training activities, and ensures compliance with company and client requirements. The position works closely with stakeholders, trainers, and administrators to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality training outcomes across all business areas.

Key result areas include:
- Develop, maintain, and manage the annual training calendar, including internal, external, and OEM programs
- Coordinate all aspects of training delivery – scheduling, liaising with facilitators, and confirming attendance
- Manage logistics for training sessions, including venues, materials, and catering (supported by the Training Administrator)
- Support new project start-ups by coordinating training and onboarding requirements
- Liaise with external training providers for bookings, purchase orders, and invoices
- Conduct and maintain Training Needs Analyses (TNA) for relevant areas
- Monitor training compliance and ensure required records are accurate and current in LAAMP
- Generate and analyse reports to track completion, compliance, and expiry trends
- Support and prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, safety, and HR teams
- Liaise with external vendors, RTOs, and clients to align training activities with business and contractual requirements
- Oversee the integrity of data within the Learning Management System (LAAMP), ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and administrative efficiency
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) desirable
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent qualification desirable
- Demonstrated experience coordinating training or learning activities within a mining, civil, or heavy industry environment
- Experience developing and managing training calendars and coordinating internal/external training events
- Strong understanding of compliance and training governance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Experience in reporting, auditing, and maintaining training records
