Company Description:Anglo American AustraliaGrosvenor Mine – an underground steelmaking coal mine produced its first longwall coal in May 2016 and is located in Moranbah, about 190 km south-west of Mackay.We are building the team to deliver the next chapter of Grosvenor Mine. Job Description:Grosvenor MineWe are currently seeking a highly motivated site-based Training Officer at Grosvenor Mine, competent in scheduling, managing and assisting training related tasks to ensure compliance to corporate policy and legislative requirements. This is the perfect opportunity for someone to step foot into one of the world’s most longstanding and rapidly growing industries, in a well-established mine in Moranbah, QLD.As a Training Officer, your duties include:Support with general enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.Monitor and manage training records, identifying gaps, and collaborating with leaders.Managing the end-to-end process for targeted training programs.Driving continuous improvement and best practice for training delivery.Maintain compliance and ensure personnel have the necessary skills / Training as per the site Training Needs Analysis.Ensuring crew proficiency levels in accordance with site training needs; andMonitor & maintain site training systems, including reporting, site access control and training compliance audits. Qualifications:You will have previous experience in:Managing and assisting with site-based training requirementsKnowledge of competency-based training in units endorsed under the Resource Infrastructure Industry (RII)Highly desirable but not mandatory, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)At least 2 years of experience in a similar roleResilient nature, openness for change and demonstrated ability to drive best practice.Your strong communication, prioritisation, and time management skills, as well as your drive to deliver high quality output in a timely manner will be key to your success in the role.
