Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and magnanese across North West Queensland and Western Australia. What you will be Doing
A key part of your role will involve supporting the administration of training and competency records for operators and contractors, ensuring all documentation meets site and regulatory requirements. You will assist in coordinating training programs and maintaining accurate records to support both compliance obligations and operational needs. Above all, you will play an important role in supporting a strong safety-first culture, ensuring that all training documentation and processes align with site safety regulations and contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule on-site training, inductions, orientations, and toolbox talks
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation within LMS
- Ensure training records comply with SHE standards and relevant legislation
- Assist with tracking and recording competencies of operators and contractors
- Provide administrative support in the development and delivery of training programs
- Ensure training activities are aligned with operational and compliance requirements
- Support and promote a strong safety-first culture across the site
- Ensure all training records and documentation align with site safety regulations
What you will need
- Standard 11, Coal Board Medical and Drivers License
- SOA TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Desirable
