Trainer & Assessor – Village

About the Role

We are recruiting a Trainer & Assessor to join a site-based operation supporting village, warehouse and power plant personnel.
This is a hands-on role focused on workforce competency, compliance, and Verification of Competencies (VOCs), working closely with operational teams to ensure training requirements are met across a range of site-based activities.

• FIFO ex Perth 2:1 roster
• Day shift only
• Permanent opportunity
• Site-based role supporting village, warehouse and power plant operations
• Strong focus on workforce competency and compliance
• Conduct VOCs and workplace assessments
• Maintain training and competency records
• Support onboarding and training requirements for site personnel
• Work closely with supervisors and operational stakeholders
• Opportunity to make a direct impact on workforce capability and site compliance
• Variety across site services, logistics, warehouse and utilities environments
• Autonomous role requiring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
• Previous FIFO experience
• Experience conducting VOCs and competency-based assessments
• Strong understanding of training compliance and workforce competency requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Desirable:

• Experience with Working at Heights and Confined Space assessments
• Exposure to high-risk work activities
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, site services, village operations or power generation environments
