About the Company
Breight Group is a leading maintenance and shutdown business. As part of our business we have an established RTO, Breight Training which offer a range of nationally recognised training courses enabling individuals to learn new skills, complete tasks safely, and operate new and different equipment.
About the Role
Breight Training is seeking experienced and passionate Trainers & Assessors to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training programs—including National Units of Competency and Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments—at our Rivervale training facility. You will play a vital part in developing workforce capability while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and RTO obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to Deliver Scaffold Course - Basic, Intermeidate and Advanced
- Ability to deliver Statutory Mining Supervisor Course
- Deliver Deliver training and assessment for Nationally Recognised Units of Competency within our RTO scope, such as Working at Heights (WAH), Confined Space Entry (CSE), Gas Test Atmospheres (GTA), Basic Fire, Scaffolding, Forklift, and others.
- Conduct VOC assessments in line with industry and RTO standards.
- Ensure all training activities comply with relevant legislation, standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous development, review, and improvement of training programs, learning resources, and assessment materials.
- Support the maintenance of RTO compliance and accreditation requirements.
About You
We’re looking for engaged, safety-focused individuals who enjoy working both independently and as part of a high-performing team. You will also have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) – mandatory
- Current High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) with SA and LF classes – essential
- Experience in the resources sector or a similar industry
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A genuine passion for developing others and delivering quality training outcomes
