Trainee / Graduate Recruitment Consultant
TechForce
Job Description
The Opportunity
Tired of every job ad saying “experience required”? Here’s your chance to launch a high-earning career in recruitment with full training and support.
We’re recruiting for our Techforce Talent Pathway
– a structured trainee/graduate program designed for ambitious people who want to build a career in sales and recruitment. You’ll start in our Perth CBD office with comprehensive on-the-job training, ongoing coaching, and clear pathways to success.
As Recruitment Consultant you’ll own the full cycle – sourcing candidates, winning clients, and placing people into roles. Your results are in your hands, and we give you the tools, training and support to deliver them.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing personal and brand marketing strategies to attract top talent
- Shortlisting, screening and interviewing candidates
- Building and managing strong candidate and client databases
- Winning new business through outbound calls, networking, meetings, proposals and tenders
- Managing administration, compliance and placement aftercare
- Placing candidates into temporary and permanent roles and delivering outstanding service
Who we’re looking for This role is ideal for people with a sales background or strong transferable skills. You don’t need recruitment experience – we teach you that.
We’re especially keen to hear from people who have:
- Proven experience in outbound sales, call centres, retail sales, real estate, hospitality, travel, account management or any target-driven environment
- A track record of hitting targets and delivering results
- Resilience, drive and a competitive mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Confidence on the phone and face-to-face
- Solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Full working rights and the ability to work full-time in the Perth CBD (8am–5pm)
- A positive, energetic approach and professional presentation
A completed degree is highly regarded but not essential. What matters most is your sales DNA, work ethic and hunger to succeed.
Our current consultants and managers came from sales, real estate, hospitality, mining, trades, retail, project management and more. The common thread? They were resilient, results-driven and ready to learn.
The Process
We value every application and keep you informed at every stage. You’ll receive clear guidance on what to expect, preparation resources, a face-to-face information interview, group assessment, feedback, background checks and references, followed by an offer and meet-and-greets with the team and CEO.
