We have an enticing Tradesperson – Fixed Plant Electrical residential position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 7/7 (12-hour day) roster.

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Company and Industry safety standards and legeslative requirements. Display as clear commitment to saftey and health and seek to eliminate or control the risks of injury and/ or damage to equiptment.
  • Display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment.
  • Ensure open communication with stakeholders are well informed with activities, work or tasks being undertaken in the stakeholder’s area. Operate in accordance with Company’s Stakeholder Policy. Work within the Electrical Team to ensure all activities are performed in a safe, timely, professional and effective manner.
  • Carry out designated electrical maintenance work in the Processing Plant, Site buildings and the Village. Create work request in Pronto based upon inspections with appropiate priorities assigned to ensure power supply services are maintained.
  • Ensure all defects or repairs are reported as required. Ensure all work undertaken is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with standard workplace practices and procedures.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Minimum 1-year relevant experience in the mining industry and be able to work as part of a team and foster team building. Ability to train and pass on knowledge to Maintenance personnel. Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices. Competent computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems (e.g. Pronto), word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Qualifications: Electrical Trade Qualification, Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence and Western Australian Construction White Card.
