About our role:

Northern Star has a new & exciting opportunitiy for an experienced Fixed Plant Electricianto join us at either our Jundee or Thunderbox operational sites. These opportunities are offered on 8:6 roster, with FIFO ex Perth.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the primary role is to utilise skills and knowledge to complete electrical maintenance and installation tasks in all surface operations including the village, in a safe and productive work environment.

Here's what awaits you...

• Working as part of the maintenance team, providing an effective and responsive maintenance function to the production section.
• Completing preventative & breakdown maintenance tasks as directed by the Supervisor or from Work Order instructions.
• Undertaking duties to assist other departments, trades or operations when available.
• Ensuring relevant environmental considerations are taken into account from work orders, particularly hydrocarbon management (oil spills etc.)
• Develop and carry out HV switching programs and issue HV permits.

To thrive in this role, you'll need...

• **Experience:**Previous expereince in a similar role, PLC, Citect and field instrument experience (preferred); Pronto experience (preferred)
• Qualifications: Electrical Trade Qualification; WA Electrical Licence; HV Switching ticket & Cert 3 Instrumentation or Higher (Desirable)
