Trade Assistant / Civil Labourer

Our client is a leading civil and construction contractor delivering projects across the Pilbara region.

About the Role

This project is in its early stages and will involve a range of civil construction activities supporting the development of new camp facilities.

• FIFO from Perth – 2:1 Roster
• 12-hour day shifts only
• $45.00 – $50.00 per hour + super
• ASAP Start
• Roy Hill, WA

Duties:

• General civil construction support
• Trenching and excavation assistance
• Installation of temporary fencing and site infrastructure
• Spotting machinery and working around excavators in confined areas
• General labouring and site clean-up duties
• Assisting trades and plant operators as required
• Experience working around civil machinery and excavation works is highly regarded
• Tickets for skid steer, loader, or excavator operation will be highly advantageous

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Civil Labourer, or similar role
• Roy Hill Induction (highly advantageous)
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Forklift ticket (advantageous)
• Machinery tickets (skid steer/excavator) – desirable but not essential
• Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Previous FIFO experience highly regarded
