Your New Role

You’ll join the Project Team delivering the Camp Comms Upgrade, transforming accommodation rooms from traditional key locks to modern swipe ‑ card access. This project is expected to run for approximately 3 months, with the potential for extension, operating on an 8/6 dayshift roster. Travel options include DIDO from Cloncurry or Mt Isa, or FIFO from Townsville or Cairns. Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting Electricians with daily tasks and on ‑ site project activities
• Transporting tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas
• Performing general labouring duties such as digging, sweeping, tidying, and preparing work zones
• Supporting the safe and efficient progress of the comms upgrade project

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To jump into this role, you’ll bring:

• Manual Driver's license
• Previous Trade Assistant experience in the mining industry (preferred)
• The ability to work both independently and in a team
• Ability to pass a police check and mine site medical, including D&A
• Off siding electricians or comms tech
