Trade Assistant
Location: Landsdale
Pay Rate: $35/Hr + Penalties + Super
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
Start: ASAP
Our client is a leading supplier of electrical mining equipment with locations throughout Australia. As a result of ongoing business growth, they are currently looking for an Electrical Trade Assistant to join their strong team. The role will be working with a workshop environment alongside qualified Electricians, supporting the larger production team of approx. 80 staff members in Perth.
What will be my main responsibilities?
- Assisting Electricians with performing equipment repairs, cleaning, and helping with mechanical and electrical installations.
- Completing onsite commissioning and installation of diesel engines, lighting towers, and power generation systems.
- Follow technical manuals, drawings, and written procedures.
- Using various hand and power tools to build and assemble electrical switchboard.
- Any other general assembly or electrical assistant duties as required within the workshop.
How can I be successful?
- Previous experience working around electricians and / or workshop experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- Full Australian Working rights
