IntroductionAbout this roleWe are currently seeking motivated and safety focused Terminal Operators to join a busy bulk liquid terminal based at Port Botany. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a trade qualification, mechanical aptitude or experience working in an industrial environment who is looking to establish a career within the bulk liquids and terminal operations industry. No previous terminal experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety and a willingness to learn.
Operate pumps, valves and associated terminal equipment Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk liquid products Carry out routine inspections and operational checks Monitor equipment and report any faults or abnormalities Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping activities Complete operational documentation accurately Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures Work collaboratively within a close knit team Participate in shift work, overtime and weekend work as required

A strong focus on workplace health and safety Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with industrial equipment A trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Fitting, Boilermaker or similar) or experience in manufacturing, processing, logistics, mining, construction or heavy industry is highly regarded A current Australian Driver's Licence The ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively Strong problem solving skills and a proactive attitude The willingness to learn new systems and processes
