Job Description
Our Opportunity
- Location: Eliwana
- Roster: 8 Days On / 6 Days off The Technology Site Specialist is responsible for delivering hands-on support, maintenance and troubleshooting of site-based technology to ensure reliable and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT site support, ensuring incidents, requests and work orders are managed through ServiceNow and SAP.
- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot network, communications and end-user technology, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Deliver desktop, peripheral, printer and meeting room support, including video conferencing setup and fault resolution.
- Maintain IT hardware lifecycle activities, including asset management, stock control, installations and equipment decommissioning.
- Support planned project work and new technology deployments in line with operational schedules.
- Participate in an on-call roster to provide timely support for network and communications incidents.
- Maintain accurate documentation, handover logs and system records to support operational continuity and compliance.
- Promote a strong safety culture by following HSE procedures, participating in risk assessments and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT Site Support role, ideally within a mining or FIFO environment.
- Experience supporting Cisco networks, wireless infrastructure, ITSM ServiceNow and audio-visual/meeting room technologies.
- Proven experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing IT hardware, systems and network infrastructure.
- Ability to diagnose faults, interpret schematic drawings and wiring diagrams, and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships and support operational teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement and working collaboratively within a team.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience, with ITIL and Microsoft certifications highly regarded.
- Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence essential, with Manual licence and First Aid certification desirable.
