About the Role
In a dynamic and challenging environment, under the supervision of the logistics supervisor, you will:
- Maintain up-to-date receiving and shipping schedules for various materials;
- Coordinate resources and documentation with different carriers and operations teams;
- Perform verification and approval of transport and services invoices;
- Produce various reports on in-transit materials and inventory levels;
- Act as the point of contact for external suppliers, carriers, corporate offices and plant staff, within the functions described above;
- The role involves activities spread between the CCR Refinery and the Horne Foundry.
- The position may be based in Rouyn-Noranda or Montréal.
Profile
- A college diploma in logistics or a related field (relevant experience in the field will also be considered);
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Rigour, sense of duty and ability to plan and organise work independently;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
- Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite;
- Ability to easily adapt to new computer systems;
- Health and safety consciousness for oneself and colleagues.
Languages: The work is primarily in French. The candidate must be able to handle professional English, both written and spoken.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (7am to 3pm, flexible)
