About the Role

Join Komatsu as a PDI Technician and be part of the team responsible for assembling and preparing brand new heavy equipment before it hits site.

From build to test, you’ll ensure every machine leaves our facility ready to perform.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and commission Komatsu machinery to OEM standards.
• Fit customer-specific components and upgrades.
• Perform testing and ensure machines meet quality standards.
• Work closely with supervisors and other teams to meet deadlines.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Support and mentor apprentices on the job.
• Roster: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with O/T available
• Rate: $42.20 to $51.36 per hour – dependant on experience.

About You / Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification (essential) –Ttruck/Diesel/ Auto Mechanics or Auto Elec.
• Experience working on earthmoving or heavy equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
