Technician - Field Service Rental

**The Opportunity:**As a Mobile Plant Mechanic – Field Service based in our Dry Creek branch, you will travel throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance support across a range of Komatsu’s rental fleet.

Working independently in the field, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality service outcomes, building strong customer relationships and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality field service support across customer sites
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mobile plant equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections in accordance with OEM standards
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs and service activities
• Submit timesheets and required paperwork within required timeframes
• Maintain all site inductions, licences and compliance requirements
• Identify and escalate technical or customer issues where required
• Build strong working relationships with customers while representing Komatsu professionally
• Participate in ongoing technical development and OEM training programs

Roster: Monday to Friday – 7:00am to 4:00pm

Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate + vehicle + 153.83 p/w field service allowance + tool allowance + overtime

What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Fitting or equivalent
• Previous experience working on mobile plant equipment (essential)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Experience carrying out repairs, maintenance and inspections on construction, mining or earthmoving equipment
• Ability to work independently across multiple customer sites
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service
• Current driver's licence (MR preferable)
