About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified Technician - Reman to join our Remanufacturing team in Wacol.

Working within a specialised workshop, you'll be responsible for inspecting, repairing and remanufacturing heavy equipment components to OEM standards. You'll utilise precision measuring equipment, follow detailed repair procedures and complete accurate technical documentation while delivering high-quality workmanship in a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair and remanufacture heavy equipment components to OEM standards
  • Use specialised measuring and testing equipment to assess component condition and ensure quality outcomes
  • Complete technical reports, service documentation and quality records accurately
  • Maintain a safe, organised and efficient workshop while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Roster and Pay

  • Roster: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday), working 12-hour day shifts from 6:00am to 6:00pm
  • Annualised Wages: Annualised salary of $137,000 - $144,000 base + super
  • Location: Wacol, QLD

What we are looking for

  • Relevant mechanical trade qualification
  • Experience repairing, rebuilding or remanufacturing heavy mechanical components
  • Current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
  • Current Dogging and Rigging Tickets (Advantageous)
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using precision measuring and testing equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical information and complete accurate service documentation
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and contribute positively within a collaborative team
