Talent & Workforce Lead (West) 1

About the Role

You will ensure that our recruitment and onboarding processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned to business priorities. You’ll lead a team of Recruitment Advisors and Mobilisation Officers who are responsible for end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for blue- and white-collar roles across our East Coast projects. In particular, you will focus on strengthening our internal mobility processes, managing our recruitment suppliers and owning the recruitment operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of talent acquisition, ensuring efficient, compliant and customer-focused recruitment practices
• Act as the first line of governance for recruitment processes, identifying risks, resolving roadblocks and driving continuous improvement
• Embed and manage internal mobility processes, ensuring internal talent is actively considered for front line leadership and professional opportunities
• Provide workforce and talent insights through reporting and analysis of key metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, diversity and internal appointment outcomes
• Lead, coach and develop a mobilisation and recruitment team
• Manage relationships with external recruitment partners, medical providers and other talent-related suppliers

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, workforce management and organisational capability with mining industry
• Proven track record of leading high performing teams
• Strong operational discipline combined with the ability to think strategically and solve complex workforce challenges
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for both people and business performance
• SuccessFactors experience preferred

• Roster: 5:2/Monday to Friday
