Systems Analyst

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a collaborative and solutions-focused Systems Analyst to join our Land Management Systems team at Fortescue.

In this business-facing role, you’ll support our permit to work and tenements systems, working closely with internal approvals and tenement teams to ensure systems run smoothly, issues are resolved efficiently, and continuous improvements are delivered to enhance business performance.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with diverse stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful system improvements that support critical operations.

You’ll be based in Perth with flexible working arrangements, along with occasional travel to our Pilbara operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day system support, resolving issues within agreed SLAs
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors
• Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and knowledge base (SharePoint)
• Support audit and compliance activities
• Contribute to system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Deliver user training, including support for international teams
• Assist with testing cycles, including UAT and defect management
• Support system cutover and transition activities for new or updated releases

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field;or equivalent practical experience in a similar role
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly document requirements
• Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive approach to problem solving and prioritisation
• The ability to simplify complex systems and processes
• High attention to detail across documentation, testing, and data validation
• A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word)
