Downer Professional Services comprises of three business units our Technical, Advisory, and Capability consulting practice, and Team Downer, which partners with CASG and NSSG as a major service provider to Defence. Together, we are a multi-disciplinary advisory and delivery partner of choice for clients across Defence and National Security.

We currently have an opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Canberra to work on a Cyber Security Operations Systems Program project.

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Canberra to work on a Cyber Security Operations Systems Program project.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing basic support and troubleshooting for all COSPO products
• Logging or assisting with the logging of support requests
• Maintain & administer DCR and SDTE infrastructure and endpoints
• Auditing and asset management of COSPO owned materiel, at unit locations
• Coordination and assistance with COSPO products’ upgrades/updates/maintenance

About You / Requirements

• Experience in IT Administration including Linux commands and Level 2 trouble shooting support.
• Prior experience working on Defence systems and networks.
• Experience in and understanding of cyber security including any cyber security certifications..
• Experience in Physical network devices.

Qualifications & Certifications

• AGSVA clearance as required by the Commonwealth
• ITAR compliance requirements may also be an inherent requirement
• Cyber security certifications (any)
