Due to ongoing growth across surface operations, we are seeking experienced Mining Electricians to join the team.

Your new role

As part of the Surface Electrical Maintenance team and reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance Electrical Surface, you’ll be responsible for keeping critical infrastructure running safely and efficiently. Every day will bring variety. Your duties may include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining and troubleshooting power distribution systems
• Statutory testing, scheduled maintenance, and inspections
• Supporting communications and network infrastructure on site
• Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Working closely with projects teams during upgrades and planned shutdowns

This position offers an 8/6 day shift roster , with night shift available as required. Travel options include DIDO from Cloncurry or Mt Isa , or FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane .

What you’ll need to succeed

You will succeed in this role if you bring:

• A recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
• A current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current LVR/CPR
• Mining experience (essential) – underground or surface
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to complete a police check , pre-employment medical , and drug & alcohol screening
