About the Role Responsibilities are to coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities in the Wet Plant area, ensuring safe and efficient execution of scheduled and corrective maintenance plans, with the goal of maximising asset availability and reliability while complying with the company’s safety, quality and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises the execution of mechanical maintenance activities in equipment and installations in the Wet Plant area, ensuring adherence to programming and operational standards.
• Manages risks associated with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, verifying the application of critical controls, safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Leads analysis, diagnosis and resolution of mechanical faults, promoting timely actions to restore operations and improve asset reliability.
• Verifies the quality of work performed on site, ensuring conformance with work orders, technical specifications and established procedures.
• Coordinates daily with Operations, Planning and Reliability to align priorities, monitor performance metrics and ensure maintenance plans are met.
• Manages human and technical resources under their responsibility, promoting a safety-driven culture, performance, people development and collaborative work.
• Participates in short- and medium-term maintenance planning and prioritisation, driving continuous improvements aimed at availability and operational reliability.

Requirements

• Execution Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Civil Engineering or an allied field related to industrial maintenance.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial maintenance or mining.
• Minimum 1 year in supervisory or leadership roles within maintenance.
• Experience leading work teams in operational and maintenance areas.
• Experience maintaining fluid pumping equipment and copper processing plant equipment.
• Experience in hydrometallurgical plants (SX-EW), pumping systems, piping (HDPE, steel) and fluid transport.
• Knowledge of mechanical fault analysis and management.
• Knowledge of risk management, critical controls and mining safety regulations.
• SAP experience for maintenance (desirable).
• Microsoft Office at an intermediate or advanced level.
• Class B driver’s licence (essential).
• Health capable of performing the role.
