Supervisor Village Operations
Mineral Resources
Job Description
About the Company
We don't run camps. We run villages and resorts that people genuinely want to come back to. That takes investment, and it takes leaders who care about the detail.
You'll join a team that backs its people, builds capability fast, and operates at the pace of one of Australia's most ambitious mining companies. If you want a role where your standards actually matter, this is it.
About the Role
The Opportunity You'll own the full operational rhythm of your village: safety, service, and standards, 24/7. From housekeeping and catering to transport, maintenance, guest services, and contractor engagement, this role touches every part of the village experience. You'll be the driving force behind a genuine home away from home for our workforce.
This isn't a desk role. It's hands-on, high-accountability leadership. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading with purpose: overseeing all village operations and setting the tone for a safe, inclusive, and high-performing culture
- Developing people: coaching and mentoring emerging leaders, building capability and confidence at every level of your team
- Staying agile: adapting quickly to shifting operational demands, workforce changes, and evolving priorities without losing momentum or standards
- Driving food & hospitality excellence: leading catering teams to deliver outstanding food services with rigorous food safety compliance
- Managing the numbers: budgets, stock control, and cost optimisation handled with transparency and accountability
- Using data to lead: analysing workforce data to forecast cleaning schedules, track attendance, and manage transport movements
- Communicating with clarity: engaging your team, building stakeholder relationships, and keeping cross-functional collaboration sharp
- Championing psychosocial safety: fostering an environment where every resident feels respected, supported, and able to thrive
What You'll Bring
- Proven leadership experience in village, remote, or hospitality operations
- The ability to lead diverse teams through complexity and change
- Strong financial acumen: budget management, expenditure control, and cost optimisation
- Confidence in using operational data to drive decisions and reporting
- A solid understanding of compliance frameworks and safety protocols
- Resilience and adaptability: you don't just handle change, you lead through it
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- A current driver's licence and genuine flexibility to meet operational demands
