About The Role:

We are seeking a proven Supervisor Site Operations to join the Mine Services team at Daunia. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role and be part of a team that’s been successfully supporting autonomous operations for more than five years.

As a Supervisor Site Operations, you’ll be responsible for the coordination and performance of the pump and civil crew by keeping things running safely, efficiently, and on target. You’ll be responsible for shift planning, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement across site.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities, including shift planning, task allocation, and crew supervision to ensure safe, efficient operations in an open-cut coal environment.
• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of site dewatering systems and pumping infrastructure to support uninterrupted production.
• Supervise teams operating a range of civil mining equipment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
• Monitor performance, resource utilisation, and work quality while maintaining compliance with site safety and operational standards.
• Drive a high-performance culture through leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity and operational outcomes.

What You'll Bring:

• Inspirational leader with proven experience in a similar production supervisory role, ideally within an open-cut coal mining operation.
• Holds RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 (S1, S2, S3) and RIIRIS402 (G2) qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience supervising civil works, dewatering and pumping systems, and associated infrastructure maintenance (including poly welding).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments while effectively managing competing priorities.
