This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front in a dynamic processing environment, driving performance, safety, and team engagement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will lead a team of process operator maintainers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the CHPP while driving performance to achieve production targets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising day-to-day operations to meet production and quality targets
• Leading and mentoring operators to drive strong safety and performance culture
• Ensuring compliance with site SHMS and CHPP procedures
• Monitoring plant performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Workplace inspections to verify critical risk controls are in place and effective
• Coordinating maintenance activities

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within processing, mining, or heavy industry
• Coal processing experience highly regarded
• Trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Certificate 3 Resource processing
• Certificate 4 TAE
• RIICOM301B Communicate information
• RIIOHS301A Conduct safety and health investigations
• RIIRIS301B Apply risk management processes
• RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process
• Dozer, Loader, Skid steer, Forklift and Crane skills desirable
• Strong leadership capability with a focus on team engagement and accountability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence
