The Opportunity

Reporting to the Superintendent, this newly created role will lead the Non‑Process Infrastructure (NPI) and Water Management crews across both operations, overseeing a multi‑disciplinary team including bore technicians, pump technicians, electricians, contractors and supporting trades.

This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for maintaining critical site infrastructure including pumping systems, water networks, electrical distribution systems and associated NPI assets. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable infrastructure performance while supporting safe and efficient mining operations.

This role focuses on supporting both our MT Marion and Bald Hill operations, commencing on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise NPI and water management crews across key site operations
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of pumping systems, bore fields, water networks and electrical distribution infrastructure
  • Lead contractors and site teams to deliver NPI maintenance and project works safely and efficiently
  • Provide frontline technical support and leadership across multiple trades and disciplines
  • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure assets to minimise operational downtime and production impacts
  • Liaise closely with Mining Production and operational stakeholders to support site requirements and priorities
  • Conduct workplace inspections and ensure all work is completed in line with MinRes safety standards and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across water management and NPI systems

About You / Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience within mining, infrastructure, water management, or maintenance environments
  • Trade qualification highly regarded within Electrical or Mechanical disciplines and a Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement capability
  • Experience working with pumping systems, water networks, electrical infrastructure or associated NPI assets
  • Ability to lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams across operational sites
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on leadership approach

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to PLC systems, poly welding, or dewatering operations advantageous
