Job Statement

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mining Supervisor to join our growing team at Genesis Mining Services (GMS). This is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to contribute to a growing business while gaining exposure across a diverse mining operation.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will play a key role in leading safe and efficient mining activities, mentoring crews, and supporting operational performance across site.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Current C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
• S26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within an open pit mining or quarrying environment, including machinery operation
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and foster positive working relationships
