Civmec is looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors based in Port Hedland with a proven track record in delivering mechanical solutions and managing vertical projects within the resources sector. The Role

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment within process plants and conveyor systems
• Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical fitters, providing guidance and support
• Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries
• Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting
• Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace;

About You

• A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Australian recognised trade certificate in Engineering (Mechanical)
• Experience working on a large-scale construction and/or maintenance projects in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of conveyor systems, balance machines, mineral processing plant, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
• Managing and driving completions and work crews.
• Well-honed project planning and scheduling skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management
