About the Role

Field Maintenance Supervisor | Hydraulics | Blackwater Mine

Whitehaven Coal is seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance operations at our Blackwater Mine, one of Queensland’s premier coal mining sites.

As a Supervisor Maintenance, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our mining equipment and infrastructure. You will lead a team of skilled maintenance technicians, coordinate maintenance schedules, and collaborate with operations to optimise performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the Blackwater Mine site
• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance team members
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
• Plan and prioritise maintenance work to minimise downtime
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimise equipment performance
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in maintenance supervision within the mining or heavy industry sector
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Sound knowledge and maintenance practices of CAT, Liebherr and Komatsu Excavators
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience
