Supervisor - Facilities & People Logistics

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining requires an experienced Supervisor - Facilities Maintenance to join our Facilities and Logistics team at Cape Preston, This is a full-time role on a 8/6, day-shift roster, FIFO from Perth.

The Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Manager – Facilities & Logistics you will manage the performance of the contractors supplying the Village maintenance, by overseeing the planning, scheduling, and implementation of work to be carried out on the contract. You will develop a planned maintenance strategy to improve the longevity of company assets, and recommend appropriate process improvements where identified.

The Requirements

We seek applicants with a Trade qualification that have experience monitoring and maintaining facilities maintenance in a remote location.

The following experience / skills are required for the role:

• Project Management and SAP (PM module) experience
• The ability to develop planned maintenance strategies
• Exposure to Facility services such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or general building maintenance
• Understanding of statutory compliance and safety requirements for facilities and building assets
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to supervise, lead and motivate teams of tradespeople is a necessity.
