About the Role

As our Fabrication Supervisor, you’ll lead a skilled team of Boilermakers and Welders and oversee daily workshop operations across off site repairs, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing of OEM equipment and operations. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement and supporting capability development across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the fabrication team
• Plan, allocate, and supervise daily workshop activities across both day and night shifts
• Manage materials, stock, and workflow to meet deadlines
• Build and support a strong leading hand structure within the team
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop
• Liaise with all Supervisors, Workshop Manager, QA Team & OSR Coordinator to safely deliver quality OEM Inventory and OSR equipment
• Deliver training and upskilling programs to enhance team capability

What You’ll Bring

• Australian-recognised Fabrication Trade Qualification

• Strong fabrication knowledge across tooling, systems, and production processes
• Dogman / Rigger Basic– essential
• High Risk Licence – Forklift desirable
• Certificate IV in Leadership & Management – desirable
• Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong understanding of quality and safety management systems
• AS1796 OR 2210 Welding Supervisor – desirable
