Supervisor - Electrical Maintenance

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Advisor, the Electrical Supervisor – Concentrator Maintenance leads electrical trades to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant maintenance across the processing plant. The role coordinates daily work, ensures statutory and maintenance standards are met, and supports planning and continuous improvement in equipment performance and maintenance quality.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading electrical tradespersons and promoting a positive team culture
• Planning and coordinating daily electrical maintenance activities
• Monitoring work execution and identifying variances to implement corrective actions
• Ensuring electrical maintenance compliance and accurate work order management
• Collaborating with planners and the Processing Maintenance Superintendent on short and long-term maintenance plans
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment availability and team performance
• Maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Supporting team performance management and promoting safe work behaviours

About You

You are a technically strong electrician with significant post-trade experience and proven ability to lead others. You bring strong knowledge of plant electrical systems, including DCS/PLC fault-finding, HV switching, and instrumentation skills. You are calm under pressure, consistent in your decision-making, and able to coach and influence a team in a constructive and measured manner. You communicate clearly, manage priorities effectively, and build strong relationships across maintenance and operations.
