About the Role

UGL Utilities are recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a newly awarded Substation Project in NSW

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities
  • Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.
  • Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.
  • Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.
  • Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives
  • Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met
  • Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets
  • Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training
  • Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership

What are we looking for you to bring to the team:

  • Experience within the construction industry within a team lead/supervisory role
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • A proven record driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated organisational capabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access & Outlook
  • Knowledge of LEAN principals
  • Experience with Primavera, MS Project, SAP and experience on substations green or brownfield suits civil
