About the Opportunity
MinRes are seeking an experienced Drill & Blast Supervisor to join our team on a 7 days on / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster (2/1), at our owner operator Lithium projects.
Reporting to the Drill & Blast Superintendent your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising daily Drill & Blast operations
- Leading and mentoring crew
- Coordinating production activities to meet operational targets
- Supporting incident investigations and risk management activities
- Driving a strong safety culture across the workforce
- Managing contractor performance
- Managing workforce planning and shift execution
- Monitoring explosives compliance and operational performance
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and the WA mining legislation
What is required?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working within Drill & Blast and Production Environment
- Demonstrated 2 years’ supervisory experience in an open pit environment
- Hold a Statutory – Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
- Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong focus on safety and fostering a zero-harm culture
- A proactive approach to safety, leadership, and operational excellence
Highly regarded?
- WA Shotfirer’s licence
- Senior First Aid Certificate
- Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations.
