The Opportunity
In the role as the Supervisor Conveyor Service, leading and developing a team of conveyor personnel and to deliver a high level of customer service. This is a key integral role in the Maintenance Service Team to plan and execute maintenance and improvement activities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Drive and comply to the Company Occupational Hazard Management Plan.
- Support critical maintenance and servicing activities for fixed plant equipment during plant shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Regularly inspect and audit the workplace / workshop.
- Report any defects immediately and rectify were safe and practical.
- Order, receive and maintain stock of general consumables and personal protective equipment at the necessary levels to support safe effective field operation.
- Provide formal summary reports on completion of each scope of work to operations and field services management.
What is Required?
- 10 years’ experience in conveyor maintenance & belt slicing.
- C Class Drivers’ Licence.
- Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Previous experience in a people management role.
- Ability to plan and lead team activities to make sure they are completed safely, efficiently, on budget and within expected time frames.
- Experience with maintenance activities on a mineral processing plant or similar with a good knowledge of conveyor belts and assemblies.
