Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Project located approximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.
This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.
About the Role
As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivated Auto Electrician Supervisor to join the team on a full-time basis (8/6 FIFO roster from Perth). These roles are integral to delivering safe, productive and efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.
Your role will position provides the support and leadership of the maintenance of the Auto Electrical services to the operational LV’s and equipment. This position is highly conscious of the safety requirements of working in the mining industry.
What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?

Supervised underground mobile equipment servicing and electrical maintenance activities, ensuring all work was completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site service schedules and company procedures.

Led compliance with HS&E requirements, pre-start inspections, SWICs, and equipment maintenance standards to achieve safe operational performance underground.

Coordinated fault reporting, repair scheduling, and spare parts requirements with maintenance supervisors to minimise equipment downtime and improve workshop productivity.

Oversee servicing and repair of light vehicles, mobile machinery, and air-conditioning systems while ensuring accurate completion of service documentation and maintenance records.

Maintained high workshop housekeeping standards and ensured all tools and equipment remained serviceable, safe, and compliant with underground mining standards.
Our Ideal Candidate Background Includes
- Demonstrated strong leadership aligned with company values, supporting team performance, operational reliability, and continuous improvement in underground maintenance operations.
- Current WA Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor training and certificate completed
- Trade Qualified Auto Electrician with relevant Australian recognised certification.
- Previous underground mining experience working on light vehicles and heavy mobile equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across electrical, air-conditioning, and mobile plant systems.
- Sound knowledge of WA mining safety standards, HS&E procedures, pre-start inspections, and SWIC requirements.
