Job Description
We are seeking a Superintendent – Transmission to join our team in Perth on a newly awarded project. The Superintendent is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all Transmission activities.
Daily, you will monitor the KPIs and stringing activities on allocated work fronts while ensuring a high level of safety by fostering a culture of open communication, understanding, and participation in safety and quality, while delivering timely results.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Actively participates in developing a construction HSE culture that integrates safety and environmental awareness as a natural part of the job.
- Oversees the safe delivery of the Transmission work.
- Ensures that allocated resources remain productive.
- Promotes proactive safety and environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervision.
- Reports to the Construction Manager on all matters relating to quality elements of construction works.
- Directs subcontractors and staff.
- Actively participates in developing a construction HSE culture that integrates safety and environmental awareness as a natural part of the job.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years as a Senior Stringing Supervisor or Superintendent
- Tertiary and industry qualifications or significant experience in a supervisory role for construction and engineering projects.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of stringing.
- Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Driver's Licence and white card.
