With over 60 years of experience, Macmahon is a mining contractor with a unique capability of offering its clients surface, underground and mining support services.

Macmahon is seeking an experienced Production Superintendent for our Greenbushes Lithium Site located approximately 150km east of Bunbury and be responsible for daily management in order to maintain the safety and reliability standards according to the specifications and requirements.

About the role

• 8:6  Roster DIDO from Perth, Western Australia
• Lead by example to work, promote and manage in accordance with all established work rules, HSEQ legislation, standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure manning critical levels and rosters are maintained
• improvement projects are completed and allocated
• Identify any non-conformances to KPI's resulting from repeat contributing factors and liaise with required stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
• Ensure all mining activity is being monitored by supervisors and any non-conformances are being addressed through short interval control process
• Ensure optimum equipment productivity is achieved subject to prevailing site conditions without compromising safety

About you

• 7+ years' leadership experience
• Unrestricted Quarry Managers Certificate (Preferred)
• Certification in Frontline Management (Preferred)
• Certification in Risk Management Processes
• Practical knowledge and experience of surface operations including Load & Haul, Drill & Blast, and water management
• Significant mining industry experience within large scale surface mining gold projects
• Understand and manage operational costs, drivers and corrective actions
