Superintendent Planning

The Opportunity

MinRes is currently seeking an experienced a fixed-plant Planning Superintendent for our Wodgina operations on a 4:3 roster. Reporting through to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Manager, this role will lead our team in achieving operational excellence through reliability enhancement and strategic planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning team, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources, adherence to schedules, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and risk mitigation.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track reliability metrics, shutdown performance, and project milestones.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, training, and support to team members.

What is required

• Extensive experience in a senior leadership role working within Fixed Plant Planning or Maintenance within the mining industry.
• Trade qualifications within Electrical, Mechanical or related fields as well as a current Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
• Proven track record of successfully leading reliability improvement initiatives and shutdown projects.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and make appropriate decisions
• Sound Knowledge of Master Data interpretation
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities

The Wodgina lithium is a world class hard rock lithium asset, located 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual capacity of 900,000 tonnes (SC5.5).
