Description & Requirements

Monadelphous is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Superintendents interested in upcoming shutdown work in the Hunter Valley Region. We are looking for people with strong experience in Draglines & Shovels.

As a Superintendent, you will oversee planning and execution of Dragline & Shovel shutdowns, ensuring safe, efficient and high quality delivery. You’ll lead onsite teams, collaborate with project personnel, and maintain strong relationships with our clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Lead safe and efficient shutdown execution across allocated site
  • Drive excellence in HSSE, productivity and shutdown performance
  • Provide leadership to onsite supervisors and trades teams
  • Assist with shutdown planning, scheduling and scope development
  • Manage risk, scope changes and project variations
  • Act as the primary contact for technical queries and progress updates
  • Promote and champion strong safety culture and behaviours
  • Lead by example and foster a positive team culture.

What you will bring

  • Site based experience with Draglines and Shovels
  • Trade qualification or Cert IV in a relevant discipline (highly regarded)
  • Strong working knowledge of trades and project operations
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to motivate and influence teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • A commitment to safe work practices and high performance culture
