About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Subsea Mechanical / Hydraulic Technician to join a leading team supporting offshore operations and subsea tooling projects. This role will suit a hands-on technician with strong fault-finding capability and experience working with complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic equipment, subsea tooling, and associated assets
- Service and maintain subsea assets and engineered tooling
- Interpret and work from hydraulic and electrical schematics, as well as engineering drawings
- Operate a range of hand, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively
- Perform fault-finding across mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
- Complete detailed testing and servicing documentation to a high standard
- Accurately enter and manage data within project and asset management systems
- Conduct quality checks to ensure tools meet design, assembly, and functional requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Hydraulics (or similar)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven offshore experience within Oil & Gas, Subsea, ROV, or ROV Tooling environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Tickets & Certifications
- Current BOSIET / FOET (with CA-EBS)
- Ability to pass OGUK Medical
- Valid Forklift Licence (desirable)
Skills & Attributes
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Strong understanding of safety systems including Step Back 5x5, JSEA, and HSEQ
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to learn and develop within a specialised subsea environment
